My name is Julie, and I was born with a spine disease that causes a severe spine deformity. Three major fusion surgeries and hundreds of treatments have helped me keep some symptoms and pain under control, but there is no cure for my disease and it disabled me before I hit my 30th birthday.
Through encouragement and love, I’ve discovered photography as a tool to capture the beauty of my body, which has helped me cope with this disease.
